A HERO FROM WITHIN

Born and bred in Ghana, Sulley Amin Abubakar is a shinning example of a great mind in Ghana and Africa as a whole. A graduate from the University of Development Studies with BA in Intergrated Science has become C.E.O of award winning innovative startup company named "ZAACOAL".

Growing up in the Brong Ahafo Region, Amin helped his Grandmother to carry firewood which he saw as a very tiring work. It was during that period that the idea of finding alternative means of fuel started hatching up in his mind.

Finding an alternative source of fuel has always been a priority for Amin. He observed that apart from plastic waste, waste from coconut husk was the second leading material that caused pollution in Accra, Ghana. he thought about various ways by which he could use coconut husk to produce fuel that was smokeless, high energy and long burning.

Zaacoal was born out of the idea to produce an alternative source of fuel. Zaacoal was coined out of two words, "zaafi" which is an hausa term for hot and charcoal, hence literally meaning hot charcoal.

Zaacoal is an award winning innovative startup company. It is environmentally friendly and it contributes to the reduction of global warming and a cleaner society.

Sulley Amin Abubakar has indeed contributed to the good of society with his idea and must be commended for his product "ZAACOAL".
